2012 14:11:44 -0500</pubDate></item><item><title>I just want to have a normal life.</title><description>&lt;p&gt;Nothing that I have ever done seems to be easy or the normal path. To my military career,schooling to my relationships with men. I come from a huge family and I am the first born. I love my family we are very close but I don&amp;#8217;t wanna be around them all the time. If that were the case I would stay home save money which would actual be a smart move.. But I need my space. On the other I live 2 hours away which is way to far. I have drove home every week  sometimes every other for 1 and half months. Because I get home sick very easily. I want my family close but no so close I live with them does that make sence.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Now for my training&amp;#8230; traveling the way I do makes me irritable at times when it comes to have a set routine. In perfect world I would be back in the philly area not commuting and getting my routine on. But on the other hand it has allowed me to adapt. I literally have three food scales. One in my car..One at my parents and One at my home..Psycho..maybe..&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I changed my status from full to float meaning I make my own schedule last fall when my Dad had his stroke. I have never changed my status back because at this point I know that I am trying to make my way back home and go back to school in the philly area. So now things are moving along. I applied for program yesterday sending my Nursing transcripts. I start a new job Friday were I am doing a 12 week assignment. My lease is up on my apt in the mountains in July so I will prob try to look for a place closer to home if possible.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Competing is the farthest thing from my mind right now. I am training lie a beast and nutrition is on point but I am not going totally crazy if I miss a cardio session or a meal etc. I like how my body looks right now. Definetly not competition ready but I get stares and compliments at the gym so Im getting there. I honestly don&amp;#8217;t know if I want to compete this year. Competition is a boat load of money if I can get full sponorship to compete then this would be a different story. All I will say if I look good enough for a show near by at 6-8 weeks out I will decide. Thats how I am gonna play it. Not trying to stress myself out until I move and am stable.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Jeez I have my period again and it has not been 2 weeks since the last one that lasted over 9 days WTH. I am hoping after this one everything will be on a 26-30 day schedule. If you have been following some of you know I removed my Mirena which is an IUD (IntraUterineDevice) that prevents pregancy for 5 years. Some are design for 10 even 12. I have been on Birth Control most of my life. Pills as a Tennager early twenties. Then Depo boy did I have serious mood problem and weight gain with that. But the best was the Mirena I had no to little period.. that lasted one or two days very very light and sometimes not at all. I am at the stage of my life that I no longer want birth control. I have been on it for so many years time to be free of that. I am with one man his not a young kid that will &amp;#8220;make a mistake&amp;#8221; so to speak. I am 32 and frankly if I am going to have a child it should be with guy I am with now..He is amazing person and I love him.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Okay so now I basically after over 10 years I am actualy experience this PMS crap I guess I am mortal now. I now have to buy tampons &amp;#8220;super absorbency&amp;#8221; because the regulars just won&amp;#8217;t cut it.. The bleeding is enough to make me faint. I felt naseous and dizzy today.. So I am gonna definetly be eating red meat today in addition to taking Iron. Right at this moment I feel okay. Trying to be positive and get use to my new decision to join thousands of women that have actually periods and PMS. I had crazy cravings yesterday and today the thought of food makes me sick.. Seriously this is bizaarrrereee!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;On to my future fitness endeavours&amp;#8230; So the Show Date will be 9/22/2012. That gives me 16 weeks to get my tail in gear in addition I hoping that hormonal I will be cool and the weight will go down. Structually I am changing and inches are being lost. I have had alot of things going lately but now I feel like things are starting to go my way. My weight was just going bonkers. 150-155. Up and down like a roll coaster..No matter how low my coach would put my macros or adding cardio things didn&amp;#8217;t seem to go my way. In addition my mood was just overall horrible.. I had energy but didnt feel like do anything almost like depressed but not I could feel myself going that route. I would pick fights with my boyfriend for no reason. Hormonal I knew something was not right. So I had my period but it was very heavy. I just want you guys to know for over 10 years I have had periods that have lasted 2 days and are very light I dont get crapping or anything. This time I bleed for 10 days had cramps and everything else. Went to the doctor/Gyn and she stated it was a &amp;#8220;Mirena Crash&amp;#8221;. I had gotten it removed not to long after all these side effects but apparently my body is getting readjusted from not having progesterone anymore. I will tell you these now I feel like a million bucks.. I have been taking Vitamins with Iron to help with all the blood loss and my nails and energy level are through the roof and I am in a better mood. :). I feel stronger. I did 225x2&amp;#160;2 weeks ago I mean Mama is feeling good. I had some great things happen in the past couple weeks. I am USPLABS Athlete we I am very excited about because frankly I love their products and have been using them since last summer. In addition the USPlabs they are an amazing company and great at what they do. My other highlight I got to meet my coach in person Dr. Layne Norton,IFPA/NGA Bodybuilding Pro he is a gem love love him&amp;#8230; I also got to meet Gasapri Athlete and IFBB Figure Ava Cowan. I am huge fan of hers. In addition I also met Bodybuilding.com Athlete and IFBB Pro Figure Brooke Erickson amazing lady with a wonderful story she is such and inspiration she just lost her father in April this year and still found the strength to compete last Sat. Now thats inner strength. So right now I am not sure what show I am doing because the weight has not dropped. Today However I broke my plateau I am now 149.4. We will see what Saturday Brings hopefully I can keep under 150&amp;#8217;s. I do wear a size 4 but for stage I am zero way different ball game folks. Plus now I am a Pro gotta have my A game no excuses. I will if I can get to 145 then I will give the date of the next show until then the show must go on. &lt;p&gt;I check-in twice a week with my coach and my weight is up 2 pounds today. Not surprised I am contispated..I mean for days. But I am sure you don&amp;#8217;t wanna hear that. I have to pay more attention to my fiber and add alot more leafy greens. I am about buy a bag of spinach and asapargus and tear it up.. Thats that let&amp;#8217;s go Currently I feel pretty good. Energy level is solid. Motivation is there could always be better. I am also going to go purchase a fiber supplement. That should combat this crap literally lol.. &lt;p&gt;This is me at 151.4 Pounds. Now thats a crap load of weight for 5&amp;#8217;5&amp;#8221; frame but I carry a ton of muscle. As you can see I have to get much leaner. I have the shape..The leaness is what I need and thats just time that will be the factor. Coach states if I can lose 1.5-2 pounds a week then I will be in good to go. Thats of course if my body wants to cooperate.  I am hoping to break the 150&amp;#8217;s this week but I tell yah it will be hell&amp;#8230;My body likes the 150&amp;#8217;s its were it feels safe and strong. Anywho will continue to be diligent with dieting and attempt this &amp;#8220;Hail Mary&amp;#8221; to be ready in 9 weeks. &lt;p&gt;You see above I was working on my pushups on a stability incline this helps strenghen Pushups. I took my re-workout drink Jack3d rasb lemonade today. I trained upper body with free weights and finished of with my PU circuit 25x4 in 2 minutes short rest. Even though I am starting on my pre-contest I also have to make sure I throw in pushups,situps and run. I am current Army Reservist every 6 months I am tested on a how many pushups and situps I can do in 2 minutes based upon my gender and age AND how fast I can run 2 miles. To pass you need 60% in each event. I will tell you pushups is my strongest I get 100% almost always. Sit-ups depends I have gotten 100% but usually 90% and Run lets face it I hate running I pass lets just say. Last year 75%. I am in the new bracket now 32 :). I am hoping one day I can get 300 score. My highest last year was 275. My calories are around 1,600a day and 2 High Carbs days that bring me around 2,200 so I am not starving in addition I only did 2 sessions of HIIT lasting 20 minutes and one steady state cardio of 30 minutes. Weight Training has been minimal 3 days week. I am still carrying alot of fat all around especially in the glutes and back of legs as always. I am techinically 11 weeks&amp;#8230; I started prep at 12 and usually I start 16 weeks or more.. So this is gonna be a HAIL MARY Attempt.. If I don&amp;#8217;t come down smooth enough before then I will just continue dieting until the next show.. Just trying to show an overrall leaner physique.. Muscularity has never been the issue&amp;#8230; In fact judges say size is good don&amp;#8217;t need to get any bigger just a &amp;#8220;bit leaner&amp;#8221;&amp;#8230;Hmm whats &amp;#8220;a bit&amp;#8221; 1-2 pounds. drop BF by 0.1% whats a bit..Oh well who knows but..Thats why I am under the guidance of Dr.Layne Norton.. If he don&amp;#8217;t think your ready he will say it in a nice way of course. Love working with him. Very supportive and timely when getting back to you.
